PROJECT :: Medical City Children’s

LOCATION :: Dallas, Texas

DESIGN :: This children’s garden is designed as a sanctuary for patients, families and staff of the
Children’s Hospital at Medical City Dallas. Playful
geometry and curvilinear forms create a direct extension
of the interior space, which is modeled after a city park. Organically-inspired shade structures and niche seating create a variety of gathering spaces for groups or individuals. Kid-scale berms and whimsical planting create a soothing environment and relaxed sense of arrival for patients and families.
